❓Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can bonded pets stay together?
A: Absolutely! We encourage bonded pairs/groups to stay together. If any issues arise (like fighting), we will separate them safely and contact you. We always try to avoid extra charges wherever possible.
Q: Do you provide dry food/pellets?
A: No — we ask owners to bring their pet’s usual dry food to avoid upsetting their tummies. We provide everything else!
Q: Do you accept unvaccinated rabbits?
A: Sorry, no. All rabbits must be vaccinated against Myxomatosis, VHD1 and VHD2 at least 14 days before check-in. This ensures safety for all guests. (Guinea pigs do not require vaccinations.)
Q: What happens in an emergency?
A: We will always contact you or your emergency contact first. If urgent, we will take your pet to your regular vet whenever possible. All vet costs must be covered by the owner. We recommend having your own pet insurance just in case.
Q: Will my pet get time outside of their enclosure?
A: Our enclosures are generously sized with built in enrichment. We don’t allow free roaming outdoors for safety reasons (e.g. predators, weather), but your pet will have space to stretch, explore, and play within their housing.
Q: What should I bring with me?
Please bring:
-
Their dry food/pellets
-
Any extra food/treats not supplied by us you wish your pet to have during their stay
-
Any medication (with instructions)
-
Their vaccination certificate (rabbits only)
-
Comfort items if you would like (e.g. favourite toys, hideouts or blankets)
